About Roomcue
Roomcue lets a room talk to its DJ, and lets people who came alone find company, without turning a night out into an app.
What it does
Guests scan a code and send the DJ a song, a dedication or a tip. The DJ accepts what fits the set, and the best messages appear on the club screen. Venues can also open table sharing, so someone alone can ask to sit with someone who has free seats. Two people who enjoyed the evening can keep talking, if they both choose to.
How we think about it
- The music stays with the DJ. We never make, play or stream music. The DJ plays from their own library.
- You pay only if it is accepted. Payments are reserved first and released if the answer is no.
- A person is in the loop. Dedications reach the screen only after the DJ accepts them. Reports are reviewed by people.
- Private by default. Table-sharing profiles are deleted when the night ends. Either person can end a conversation and delete it for both.
- Same price for everyone. A venue sets one fee. We never price by who you are.
