Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Roomcue. Please read them. You must accept them to use the service.
Version 2026-11-12
1. Who we are
Roomcue is run by Nordiso, 21660 Parainen, Finland (business ID 3588847-6). You can reach us at info@nordiso.com. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Roomcue” mean that company.
2. What Roomcue is
Roomcue is a platform that connects people in clubs and bars with the DJ and the venue. It has three parts:
- Requests. Guests send a DJ a song request, a dedication or a tip, and the DJ decides what to accept.
- Table sharing and the board. Guests who are alone can ask to share a table with another guest in the same venue, or choose to appear on a board and be asked to meet.
- Keep in touch. Two people who shared a table can choose to keep talking in a private conversation, if both pay a monthly membership.
Roomcue does not make, play, stream or license music. DJs play music from their own licensed libraries. We are not the organiser of any event, we do not employ DJs or venue staff, and we are not a security service.
3. Who can use Roomcue
- You must be 18 years old or older. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are. If we learn that someone is younger, we will remove their access.
- You must give true information, including your real first name and your own photo where we ask for one.
- DJs and venues must be acting in their own name or for a business that has authorised them, and must be allowed to operate in the venue.
- You must follow our Community Rules, which form part of these terms.
4. Song requests, dedications and tips
- The price is shown before you pay. It is set by the DJ and always includes everything you pay for the request.
- When you send a song request or a dedication, the amount is reserved on your payment method and only taken if the DJ accepts it. If the DJ declines, the night ends first, or the payment cannot be completed, the reservation is released and you are not charged. In Sweden, where payment by Swish cannot be reserved, the amount is taken at once and refunded automatically if the DJ declines.
- A tip is taken straight away and is a gift. It is not refundable unless it was taken in error.
- The DJ is free to accept or decline any request for any reason. Accepting a song does not guarantee when or whether it will be played.
- Dedications and notes can appear on a screen in the venue after the DJ accepts them. Do not send anything you would not want strangers to read.
5. Table sharing
- A guest can open a table with free seats, and another guest can ask to join. The person asking pays the fee set by the venue, which is the same for everyone. The fee is reserved when they ask and only taken if the host accepts.
- The host decides who joins. Either person can end it at any time. Ending removes the pairing and everything kept with it.
- The board. You can choose to appear on tonight’s board, with your face, first name, photos and an optional line, and hide yourself at any time. Anyone checked in at the venue can then ask to meet you. The person who asks pays the venue’s fee, reserved when they ask and taken only if you accept. Some people on the board are marked as hosts. They are guests the venue chose to welcome newcomers, and the same rules, fee and safety tools apply to them. If you accept, the two of you can chat for the night. Contact details and links are blocked. The chat is deleted when either of you ends it or the night ends, except messages you report, which we keep for 90 days.
- We do not check who people are beyond a phone number and a self-declared age. We do not run background checks. Only meet people in the venue, in the open, with staff nearby. Never go somewhere private with someone you have just met.
- If you feel unsafe, use the “I feel unsafe” button, tell a member of staff, or call your local emergency number (112 in Finland and across the EU).
- Tonight’s session, your table, your requests and your pairings are deleted when the venue closes for the night, or sooner if you leave. Your account and profile stay until you delete them. We keep an unreadable fingerprint of banned phone numbers, so a banned person cannot come back.
5a. Your profile and photos
- You need an account. To join table sharing you sign in with your email and finish a profile: your first name and a face photo taken with your camera at that moment. You can add up to three more photos from your device, such as a full-length one.
- Photos must be you. Only you in the photo, clothed, in a photo you took or have the right to use. No nudity or sexual content, no children, no other people’s photos, no logos or contact details.
- Who sees them. Your face and first name are shown to other guests checked in at the same venue, and your other photos to guests who open your profile. Venue staff can see your name and face when they bring you to a table. Do not copy, screenshot or share anyone else’s photos.
- Automatic content check. Every photo is checked automatically for explicit or graphic content. A clearly explicit photo is refused. A photo that looks borderline stays hidden from other guests until a person at Roomcue has looked at it, and may be removed. If you think a photo was refused by mistake, write to us.
- Checks. Where your browser supports it, we check that one face is in the picture. This is not a verification of who you are, and we may ask you to retake a photo or remove it if it breaks these terms.
- Metadata is removed. Every photo is re-saved on our servers, which removes any location or camera details it carried.
- Delete any time. You can change or remove photos in your profile, and delete your whole account in one step. That permanently removes your profile, photos and conversations.
6. Keep in touch membership
- What it is. A private conversation between two people who met through table sharing. It exists only if both of you want it and both pay.
- Price. The monthly price is set by Roomcue and shown to you before you add a card. It is charged to each of you, every month, until it ends. If the price has not been set, membership is not available.
- When billing starts. Each of you first saves a card without being charged. Billing starts only after both of you have saved a card. If either payment fails to start, nobody is charged.
- Either of you can end it. You can stop the subscription at any time from the conversation. Because the conversation needs both of you, it then ends for both of you at the end of the period already paid. You can also end the conversation immediately, which deletes it for both of you and stops both subscriptions.
- If a payment fails we give a grace period (seven days unless we say otherwise) to fix it. If it is not fixed, the conversation ends for both people.
- Deletion. If you delete your account, every conversation you are in ends and is deleted for both people. When a conversation ends, every message is deleted for both people and cannot be recovered. If a message was reported before it ended, a copy of the most recent messages is kept for 90 days for safety review, and is then deleted.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days from starting a subscription to withdraw. By starting the service you ask us to begin right away, so if you withdraw within 14 days you pay for the part of the service already provided. You can withdraw by stopping the subscription in the conversation or by writing to us.
- Rules in the conversation. Do not share phone numbers, links or social handles to take the conversation elsewhere, do not ask for money, and do not send anything abusive or sexual that the other person did not ask for. Our filter blocks contact details and rude language automatically. We do not read private conversations unless one of you reports it or the law requires us to.
7. For DJs
- You are responsible for the music you play, and for having every licence you need to play it in the venue. Roomcue does not provide music or licences.
- You set your own prices. We take a platform fee from each accepted payment, shown in your dashboard. The rest is yours.
- Payments to you go through Stripe Connect. You must complete Stripe’s verification and accept Stripe’s terms. You are responsible for your own taxes.
- You must not accept requests you are not able to honour, and must not use the service to mislead guests.
8. For venues
- You are responsible for running table sharing safely in your venue: staffing the staff screen, responding to “I feel unsafe” alerts, bringing guests to tables, and following local laws on alcohol, licensing and age.
- You keep the staff link and the code screen link private. If you lose a device, replace the links in your dashboard.
- You get a share of each table fee, shown in your dashboard. Payments go through Stripe Connect.
- Roomcue is a tool. It does not replace your own duty of care, door staff or security.
9. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. and its group companies. We do not see or store your full card number. Available payment methods depend on the country, and can include cards, wallets, MobilePay and Swish. Prices include any taxes that apply unless we say otherwise. If you dispute a payment with your bank, we may share the information needed to resolve it and we may suspend your account while it is reviewed.
10. Content and conduct
- You are responsible for what you send. Do not post anything illegal, abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening or misleading, anything that includes someone else’s contact details, or anything that infringes someone’s rights.
- You give us and the DJ or venue the right to display what you send in the way the service works (for example, a dedication on the club screen) for as long as it takes to provide the service.
- We use automatic filters to hold messages that look like they break these rules, and people review what is held or reported. A filter is not a guarantee: please report anything that gets through at /report.
- We may remove content and suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the Community Rules, or that put others at risk.
11. Your account
- Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@nordiso.com. Some records, such as accounting records, must be kept by law for a set time. See the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires, or if we stop offering the service. If we end your access without it being your fault, we will refund any unused amount you have paid.
12. The service and changes to it
We work to keep Roomcue running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features. If a change materially affects something you have paid for, we will tell you and, where the law requires, let you cancel and refund the unused part.
13. Our responsibility
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
- Roomcue is not responsible for what users, DJs or venues say or do, or for what happens between people who meet through the service, except where the law makes us responsible.
- For DJs and venues acting in a business capacity, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees we received from you in that period, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Finland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. You can also contact your national consumer authority. Please write to us first at info@nordiso.com so we can try to fix the problem.
15. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the version number at the top and ask you to accept the new version before you carry on. If you do not accept, you cannot keep using Roomcue.
